Japanese Noh Mask Exhibition "Jiiji's Noh Mask"

This exhibition invites you to experience the world of Noh masks through the perspective of Rina Miyata, the granddaughter of Shūji Watanabe, affectionately called Jiiji meaning “grandfather”. It is an exploration of the allure of Noh masks, the deep connection between Jiiji and his craft, and the many threads of relationships that arise from them.
GALLERY & CAFE
The gallery permanently displays and sells the works of TaniQ, the ceramist from Shigaraki, Shiga.
Works of the ceramist, TaniQ from Shigaraki, Shiga, Japan are available on our shop.
At our gallery cafe, coffee, tea, chai, and our original drinks with homemade amazake rice malt are available.
We have our original drinks made with homemade Amazake rice malt. Enjoy it in a smoothie in the summer or warm in the winter.

本展は、じぃじ（渡部修二氏）の孫である宮田里菜氏の視点を通して、能面の魅力や能面とじぃじとの関係、そしてさまざまなつながりを感じていただける展覧会です。

![POV Kyoto写真展2025
”アート写真を身近なものに”
日常とアートとの境界をなくす。
*［POV］は[Point Of View]の略。
直訳すると、「視点」や「観点」という意味。
日常に潜む美しさや興味深さを新たな視点で切り取り、写真を通じて表現するための写真展。京都にある小さなアートギャラリー「ギャラリー琳」をプラットフォームとし開催。
「表現する」というキーワードに着目し、デジタルカメラやスマートフォンによる写真撮影の普及と共に、プリントや展示の機会が少なくなりつつある現代社会において、写真の力を再び感じる場を提供したいという思いから、2023年に初めてPOV Kyoto写真展を企画しました。
3度目の開催となる今回は5名の出展者が、それぞれの視点で撮影した写真を発表。写真のなかで見つけた瞬間を通じて、日常に新たな気付きをもたらし、より豊かな人生を歩む手助けになることを願っています。

“Eliminate the boundaries between everyday life and art.”
“POV” stands for point of view meaning of perspective.
POV Kyoto is a photo exhibition hosted by Gallery Rin Kyoto, that eliminate the boundaries between everyday life and art. Focusing on the keyword “Express,” we started this exhibition in 2023 in order to provide a place where people can once again feel the power of photography, where opportunities to print and exhibit are becoming rarer as digital cameras and smartphones have become more close. This year five exhibitors will be presenting photographs from their Point of View.
