A work by TaniQ, a ceramic artist based in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture.
TaniQ has been exploring the firing methods of Shigaraki ware and old Shigaraki for over 10 years, producing works using an anagama kiln.
Tsutsi chawan, cylindrical tea-bowl, is preferred in cold seasons to enjoy matcha to keep it warm.
