A work by TaniQ, a ceramic artist based in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture. TaniQ has been exploring the firing methods of Shigaraki ware and old Shigaraki for over 10 years, producing works using an anagama kiln. ``Uzukumaru'' is the name of a small pot from Shigaraki. It is said that the name came from the appearance of a person crouching down.
